Amplify Live Transcribe

Amplify Live Transcribe is currently in Early Access.

Amplify’s Live Transcribe enhances the standard Amplify Transcribe functionality by adding a real-time AI layer, processing conversations as they happen and updating your prep sheet and live insights automatically as the call progresses. Live Transcribe doesn't require a bot or a calendar invite. Because it captures audio through your computer's microphone and speakers, you can start a recording at any time, making it ideal for impromptu phone calls, face-to-face conversations, or any call where audio is coming through your device.

Starting a Live Recording

Make sure you have consent to record from all participants before starting a live recording.

  1. In the Meetings tab, click Record Now at the top of the screen. The Live Meeting screen opens and the recording starts automatically.

  2. Select a call type and any associated records.

  3. If a prep sheet is configured for the selected call type, it appears on screen automatically.

During the Meeting

The recording controls at the top of the screen show the elapsed recording time, a microphone selector, and a Pause button to temporarily pause and resume transcription without stopping the recording.

A Recording indicator appears at the top of your screen while a recording is in progress. You can navigate away from the meeting page without stopping the recording.

As you record, you'll see two tabs on the meeting screen: Prep Sheet and Live Insights. The Prep Sheet tab shows your prep sheet questions and Amplify's real-time answers. The Live Insights tab displays action items, key points, and decisions detected from the conversation. You can switch between them at any time during the call.

Prep Sheet

Here you’ll see the prep sheet configured for this call type. As the conversation progresses, Amplify detects answers to the questions on your prep sheet and fills them in automatically.

You can also:

  • Expand the Guidance & Reference section to view any call guidance included in the prep sheet.

  • Click Add Question to add a question to the prep sheet.

  • Click any individual question or answer to type a manual note directly into it.

  • Click Add Note to open a text box for longer or free-form notes.

  • Toggle on Hide answered questions to keep the prep sheet clean while on the call. Answered questions will be hidden from view when answered but included in the final summary.

Live Insights

Click the Live Insights tab to view insights captured during the call. These are organized into three categories: Action Items, Key Points, and Decisions.

Live Transcription processes the transcript at intervals during the call, so live answers and insights may not always reflect the full context of the conversation. Once you end the call, Amplify processes the complete transcript and updates answers and insights accordingly. Treat live answers as a working guide, not a final record.

Other options during the meeting

You also have these tools available during the recording:

  • Click the Amplify button to open the Amplify slideout and ask questions. Amplify answers based on the associated records and the live transcript so far.

  • Click the binoculars icon () next to an associated record to open a record preview slideout. You can view the record summary, key fields, and any attached files without leaving the meeting screen.

After the Meeting

When the meeting is finished, click Stop and Process.

The meeting will appear in the Needs Review section on the main Meetings page with a Processing indicator.

Reviewing the Meeting

Once processing is complete, click Review meeting now to open the post-meeting screen.

The Overview tab contains an AI-generated summary of the meeting including key points, action items, next steps, and decisions. By default, the prep sheet questions and answers are also appended to the bottom of the summary. If you wish to add a note, tick Add Note.

Everything in the Overview will be saved as a note to the associated Bullhorn record when you select Mark as Reviewed and Save Actions.

The content of the summary is subject to your organization's Compliance Prompt settings, which are configured by an admin. Certain information may be redacted or adjusted based on this prompt.

Before saving, you can customize what gets included in the note and review any suggested field updates:

  • Click the Prep Sheet tab and select Remove From Note to exclude the prep sheet from the saved note.

  • Click the Insights or Transcript tabs and select Add Content to include those sections in the note.

  • Review and accept any suggested field updates for the associated record. Record updates are applied when you select Mark as Reviewed and Save Actions.
