Running the Lead Pipeline Report

You can use the Lead Pipeline Report to gather insight on potential leads.

You can limit the records returned in this report by setting one or more of the filters in the table below. If you select multiple filters, Bullhorn returns records meeting the criteria of all selected filters. The filters marked with a red asterisk are required: you must enter data for those. Filter and column names may differ depending on your company's terminology.

Notes:

  • Age is determined by how long the lead record has gone without a status change.

  • Weighted Deal Value is calculated by multiplying the Deal Value by the percentage associated with the opportunity’s status (as defined in the opportunityStatusProbabilityToClose system setting) for opportunities which were generated from the Lead.

  • The Probability of Win % is calculated by dividing the Weighted Deal Value by the Deal Value for opportunities which were generated from the Lead.

 

Filter

Description

Reporting Period

Time period when the lead was added. If blank, defaults to last week.

Date Added From and Date Added To

Date range for when new leads were added. If selected, the report pulls for these dates and ignores the Reporting Period drop-down.

Filter user activity by (Me check box)

Limits data to activity you own.

Lead Owner Limits data to activity for the selected users.
Filter department activity by (My department check box)

Limits data to activity for your primary department.

Department

Limits data to activity for selected users for whom the selected department is the primary department. If you select specific departments, the report pulls for those departments and ignores the My Department check box.

Type

Limits data to leads with the selected types.

Status

Limits data to leads with the selected statuses.

Lead Source

Limits data to leads with the selected lead sources.

Export Level

Level of detail you want to export: Summary (low-level details are not included) or Detail (low-level details are included). Note that this filter only applies when the report format is unformatted Excel.

Report Format

Display format of the report: web page or unformatted Excel.

 

After clicking Generate Report, activity totals display by department, then by status, then by owner, and then for each lead.

 

Column

Description

Department

Organizes activity by the departments in your organization.

Total Number of Leads Lists the total number of leads that meet the criteria in the department.
Lead Age 0-15 days

Lists the total number of leads with an age between 0-15 days.

Lead Age 16-30 days

Lists the total number of leads with an age between 16-30 days.

Lead Age 31-45 days

Lists the total number of leads with an age between 31-45 days.

Lead Age 46-60 days

Lists the total number of leads with an age between 46-60 days.

Lead Age 61-90 days

Lists the total number of leads with an age between 61-90 days.

Lead Age 90+ days

Lists the total number of leads with an age above 90 days.

Converted Leads

Lists the total number of converted leads.

Closed Leads

Lists the total number of closed leads.

Total Opportunity Deal Value

The combined deal value amount for any associated opportunities.

Total Opportunity Weighted Deal Value

The combined weighted deal value amount for any associated opportunities.

 

When you expand a department’s row, the same columns as above display, with each lead separated by status. When you expand a status’s row, the same columns as above display, with each lead separated by owner. Finally, when you expand an owner’s row, the following columns display.

 

Column

Description

Lead Name

The first and last name of the lead.

New Company

The name of the company the lead is associated with (if there is no company record in Bullhorn).

Company

The name of the company the lead is associated with (linked to Bullhorn company record).

Status

The current status of the lead.

Type

The current type of the lead.

Assigned To

The user the lead is assigned to.

Lead Source

The source of the lead.

Date Added

The date the lead record was added to Bullhorn.

Days in Current Status

The number of days the lead has been in its current status.

Converted To

The name of the contact the lead has been converted to.

Conversion Date

The date the lead was converted.

Lead Age

The age of the lead record (not applicable if the lead has been converted or closed).

Total Opportunity Deal Value

The combined deal value amount for any associated opportunities.

Total Opportunity Weighted Deal Value

The combined weighted deal value amount for any associated opportunities.
