Customizing Short Lists

Short Lists can be modified to suit the Org's needs by adding or removing buttons and columns from the Short List view. These are the only available Short List modifications.

Add/Remove Buttons

1. Go to Setup > Custom Code > Custom Settings > Short List.
2. Click the Edit button.
3. Add checkmarks next to any buttons that should be included on the view.
   
4. Click Save.

Customize Columns

There is a limit of 10 columns for Short Lists. 5 columns are standard and non-editable (Name, Phone, Status, JCard, and Last Activity) which means that 5 custom columns can be added. Columns are controlled by a Field Set.

1. Navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Contacts.
2. Click on Field Sets.
3. Click Edit next to the Short List field set.
4. Drag and drop desired fields into the field set.
5. Click Save.
