Uploading a Resume Does not Generate a PDF or Display in the Resume Viewer

There are several reasons why a PDF would not be generated or an uploaded resume would not be displayed in the Resume Viewer on the Candidate record.

  • If the resume is uploaded directly to the Notes & Attachments section of the Contact record the resume will never be visible in the Resume Viewer and the PDF Converter will not be triggered.
  • To display a PDF in the Resume Viewer the file name needs to start with "Resume_".
  • If the resume was uploaded using the email parser, resume update functionality, or the resume parser there may be a temporary issue with the Daxtra server that needs to be addressed. In this case, contact Development for further investigation.
  • PDF conversion is done through Daxtra rather than Jobscience and there is a new Jobscience Recruiting package available to help avoid this situation. Work with a Tier 2 analyst to determine if this is a solution for a specific customer.
