Support for Salesforce External Client Apps for TKPortal SSO

To align with Salesforce's deprecation of Connected Apps, TK Connector now supports Salesforce External Client Apps (ECA) as the mechanism for configuring Single Sign-On between a Salesforce org and TKPortal infrastructure, replacing the legacy Connected App approach and introducing SHA-256 signing for SAML requests.

Support for Certifications

TK Connector now provides native support for certification data, allowing administrators to synchronize ATS certification records with the Textkernel index.

Certifications can be configured through a dedicated Certifications mapping section. This functionality is now integrated into both the Candidate Mapping page and (Recruitment Cloud only) the Vacancy Mapping page, aligning with existing skill type management.

 

Configuration

• Go to the Textkernel App, open the Search and Match Setup tab. Select either Candidate Data Mapping or Vacancy Data Mapping.

• You will see a new Certifications section where the supported mapping fields match those available for other skill types.
