Amplify Present: Initial Release

Amplify Present is a new document generation feature for Recruitment Cloud, embedded in Salesforce. It enables administrators to build and manage document templates, and recruiters to generate personalized candidate-facing documents directly from within Salesforce.

This initial release supports Text content blocks and Resume File content blocks. The former lets you include an Amplify-generated section based on the candidate's data, while the latter fetches and embeds the candidate's most recent resume file in the rendered output using a configurable Amplify AI prompt.

Admin Capabilities:

  • Template Selection Page — browse, search, and filter all available templates and packets by keyword or template type (Resume, Cover Letter, Packet).

  • Template creation — create new templates from scratch, giving each a name, type, and preview text.

  • Template Editor — open and edit templates, configure styling (paper size, font, margins), update metadata (name, type, description, anonymisation settings), and save changes (limitations apply, see note above).

  • Candidate switching — change the candidate being previewed in the Template Editor by searching contacts by name or email, without navigating away.

  • New Amplify Admin Salesforce app and permission sets — a dedicated Amplify Admin SF app with the Amplify Present tab, a new BHRC Amplify Admin Actions permission set for admin-level access, and a renamed BHRC Amplify User Actions permission set for recruiter-level access.

Recruiter Capabilities:

  • Launch from Contact record — an Amplify Present action button can be added to the Contact record layout by a Salesforce admin. Clicking it opens the Amplify Present Template Selection page in recruiter (non-admin) mode, pre-loaded with the current candidate.

  • Preview and export — Preview PDF, Preview HTML, Export DOCX, and Print buttons are available on the Template Preview page so recruiters can review and share documents in their preferred format.

  • Save to candidate record — a Save to Candidate Record button on the Template Preview page allows recruiters to save the generated document directly to Salesforce as a new Contact Document, without any manual steps.

Configuration

A new Amplify Admin Salesforce app and the BHRC Amplify Admin Actions permission set must be assigned to admin users. The BHRC Amplify User Actions permission set is required for recruiter users. The Amplify Present action button on the Contact layout must be added manually by a Salesforce administrator. Azure Named Credentials and the corpId Named Setting must be configured per customer during onboarding.
