2022.10 Highlights

We’re enhancing the capabilities of our Essentials web app in this release, by adding the ability to view Category Lists as columns to all grids. If you have columns saved to your existing display views, these will now appear in the web. It also means it’s possible to share Category columns in the Client web app if you wish.

In the desktop app, Sharepoint users will welcome an enhancement to Invenias web tabs in this release. We’ve updated our web tabs to support users opening Sharepoint files in the local Office applications (e.g. Word/Excel etc) directly from a Webtab. See example of this in action below.

  • Web Tabs - Sharepoint links open in local Office applications
    • Open a file via a Sharepoint Web tabs in the local Office application.
    • E.g. Word, Excel etc

  • Errors creating Records using Basic Parse (Chrome extension update released 8th September)
  • Errors when removing positions and qualifications in parsing for Users without 'Delete Records' permission
  • In some workflows, parser doesn’t allow new positions to be selected as Default when parsing to update a Person
  • Admin- Groups in Web Essentials, are only showing 100 users max
  • Web Grids do not automatically refresh when a Progress Status is selected and a new record selected.
