Best Practices

Depending on the report size, you may prefer to export the report to Excel. Once in Excel, you can easily create filters or pivot tables to view the data based on different data elements. For example, you might want to view invoice details of a specific client without having to view one invoice at a time.

Report Uses

Scenarios where this report is recommended include:

  • Invoice processing: For use by a Billing Specialist when researching or validating billing accuracy.
  • Client research: Research invoice details of a specific client without having to view one invoice at a time.
  • Client audits: Periodically, clients will conduct rate audits. This report is useful when agencies need to quickly provide rate audit details.
  • Parallel testing: Research discrepancies during parallel testing to quickly identify the reason for the discrepancy.

Running the Report

  1. Navigate to Menu > Canvas.

    • The report details will display. Depending on the amount of data, it may be easier to view the report via Excel, which can be accomplished in the next step.
  5. To export to Excel, click the drop down menu at the top of the report, then select View in Excel Options > View in Excel 2007 Format.
    • This option exports the data in the same format as the Canvas report. If you need a data file without keeping the Canvas report formatting, you can select the View in Excel 2007 Data option instead.
  6. Once you select the applicable Excel option, Bullhorn One will process the request, and the following screen will appear. Click on the .xlsx file to open the file in Excel.
