Invoice Attachments Priority Order

Invoice Attachments include Timesheets, Timesheet Attachments, Expense Reports, and Expense Receipt. The file types attached to your client invoices are determined on the Invoice Terms, which is filled out on the Company record. All Invoice Attachments are attached in a default priority order.

The priority order for Invoice Attachments is as follows:

  • Line Item ID on the Bill Master Transactions

  • Transaction Date on the Bill Master (used when a line item has more than one Bill Master Transaction)

  • Attachment file type (used when Bill Masters have more than one transaction in a line item, or more than one Bill Master in a line item)
