Add Support for Country Field in Update Candidate Step

What’s new?

We’ve added support for the Country field on the Update Candidate step and exposed it to the ATS Writeback configuration for Candidate-Based Survey Engagements.

Why does it matter?

This enhancement is essential for our international customers who need to collect address information from candidates residing outside the default country in the ATS. Additionally, it enables customers to correct any inaccuracies in Candidate Country information that may have been parsed incorrectly by the ATS.

How do I enable this?

Automation Customers using Bullhorn ATS will now find the ‘Country’ field available as an option in the Update Candidate step within Candidate-based Automations. They’ll also see the ‘Country’ field as an option in the Save Response to Bullhorn Field setting on Candidate-based Survey Engagements.

We recommend configuring this field for the Choose One Answer question types as a Dropdown to restrict responses to a single selection from the applicant. Each answer should then be set up as an individual Country, as shown in the example below:
