Improved Time Zone Assignment for International Records
Syncing
An issue was resolved where Bullhorn Automation assigned incorrect time zones to candidates, contacts, and leads outside the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, which caused automated emails and SMS messages to be sent at inappropriate local times.
What This Fix Means:
Time zones are now correctly determined for international records when postal codes are unavailable or ambiguous. Instead of defaulting to the agency’s time zone or relying on conflicting postal code data, Bullhorn Automation now uses country information to accurately assign the correct time zone.
This improvement ensures automated emails and SMS messages, including interview confirmations and scheduling reminders, are delivered at appropriate local times for international recipients. It improves message timing accuracy, protects candidate relationships, and supports a more professional and consistent experience across global recruiting workflows.
