An issue was resolved where shift hours were not accurately calculated for Shiftrock V2 positions that did not provide start and end times, which caused inaccurate shift data synchronization and required manual corrections by end users.

Why does it matter?

The sync process now correctly calculates shift hours for positions without explicit start and end time values. The system now leverages shift type information to improve the accuracy of VMS shift field value parsing. This fix ensures that shift data is synchronized accurately and consistently, improving product reliability by reducing the need for product adjustments and manual edits by end users.
