Manage VMS Settings

Use the Manage VMS Settings option to indicate which fields should be overwritten if an updated job is brought in via the VMS import service. You can also view a list of VMS imports that were unsuccessful. You can use this information when you contact Adapt Support to facilitate recovery from the failed attempt.

There are 5 possible fields that can be overridden when an updated job is brought in via the VMS import service:

  • VMS Updating Enabled
  • Start Date
  • Estimated End Date
  • Bill Rates
  • VMS Notes (if this is selected for override, the VMS Notes on the updated job will be added to the existing internal notes)

If you would like the field overridden when an updated job is brought in via the VMS import service, make sure the checkbox is checked (clicking on the checkbox toggles it between checked and unchecked when in Edit mode).

The VMS Queue displays any import that failed for some reason. The grid displays the created date/time, the last attempted update date/time and the system response. The system response displays the file name that failed. Please provide this information to Bullhorn Support personnel to facilitate assistance.

You can clear rows out of the grid by selecting the row (click the radio button to the left of the row) and clicking . Answer Confirm to the confirmation message.
