Amplify Present: Generating Documents

Launching Amplify Present

  1. Open the Contact record for the candidate you want to present.
  2. In the action bar at the top of the record, click Amplify Present.
  3. The Template Selection page opens in a new tab with the candidate pre-loaded.

If you are working in a Salesforce Console app, Amplify Present opens in a properly named workspace tab instead of a browser tab.

Picking a Template or Packet

The Template Selection page lists every template and packet your admin has made visible. Each card shows a thumbnail preview, name, and type. Use the keyword and type filters at the top to narrow the list, then click the template or packet you want to use.

Changing the Candidate

You can switch the candidate after the editor or preview has opened. Use the candidate search field at the top of the page and look up a Salesforce Contact by name or email. Once you pick a contact:

  • Merge tags refresh with the new candidate's data.
  • Generated tags ({experience}, {education}, {skills}) are rebuilt from the new candidate's Work History, Education, and skills.
  • Compounded address fields and other Contact fields are loaded fully.
  • Field-level security is respected — fields you cannot read are left blank with no error.

Tailoring to a Job

From the Template Preview page, you can tailor the generated document to a specific job in the ATS.

  1. Click on the Enhance button in the preview toolbar, then select the Tailor to a job checkbox.
  2. Search for a job by name or ID. Both active and inactive jobs are searchable.
  3. Pick the job to tailor the document against it.
  4. Optionally enter a custom prompt for finer control over how the document should be adapted.
  5. Re-render the preview.

Previewing and Exporting Documents

The Template Preview page offers the same actions admins have: Preview PDF, Preview HTML, Export DOCX, and Print. Use them to share or save the generated document.

Saving to the Candidate Profile

From the Template Preview page, click Save to Candidate Profile. A popup asks for the format. The generated document is then saved to the candidate as a Contact Document record in Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud.

For a packet, you can save every document in the packet — not only the last one. Use Save to Candidate Profile on each document in the packet, or save the whole packet at once where the UI offers it.

AI Resume Generation

If your template uses a Resume File block, Amplify Present reads the candidate's default Resume document from Bullhorn Recruitment Cloud and applies the admin-configured prompt to refine it. The refined content appears in the preview.

If the candidate has no default Resume on file, the AI resume block displays This candidate doesn't have Resume and no AI generation is attempted. Other blocks and merge tags still work normally. For details on how to resolve this, see the Troubleshooting section below.
