Sandbox Refresh Help

Overview

Refreshing your sandboxClosed Non Production Environments are used by customers to test new features prior to them going live. provides you with the most up-to-date version of your production environment. This refresh ensures any changes you make will behave as expected when they go live. A refresh can be a full or partial copy of your sandbox.

This article contains a list of recommendations and steps that need to be completed before and after the refresh of a sandbox that contains Bullhorn for Salesforce packages and compatible features, such as the Textkernel Portal.

Before the Refresh

Before you refresh a sandbox, be sure no development work or testing is in progress in the environment (i.e. the sandbox).

Any data specific to the sandbox will be deleted after the refresh.

Sandbox refresh requests can't be canceled. For more information, see Refresh Your Sandbox.

Sandbox refreshes must be requested & approved by Support ContactsClosed The Support Contact (Account Contact, AC/SC, SC, AC) is the person who can contact Bullhorn Support at a particular company..

Textkernel Steps

If you are using the Textkernel Portal in the sandbox, please complete these steps before the refresh:

  1. Login to the sandbox.
  2. Navigate to Setup > Custom CodeCustom Metadata Types.
  3. Next to the Textkernel Portal Configurations field, click Manage Records.
  4. Click on TKClosed An abbreviation for Textkernel Portal Config.
  5. Copy the information in the JWT issuer field.
    • Copy all of the data, the alphanumeric ID, and the short description.
  6. Refresh the sandbox.

After the Refresh

  1. Login to your newly refreshed sandbox.
  2. Navigate to SetupEmail > Deliverability.
  3. For the Access level drop-down, select either All Email or System Email Only.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Navigate to Setup > Users Users.
  6. Next to the Administrator.Salesforce record, click Edit.
  7. In the Email field, enter "admin@talentrover.com".
  8. Click Save.
  9. Navigate to Setup > CompanyClosed A Company is the organization where the contact works. This can also be called the Client. SettingsCompany Information.
  10. Copy the information under the field Salesforce.com Organization ID.
  11. If you are using the Textkernel Portal in the refreshed sandbox, grant login account access with the following steps:
    1. Navigate to My SettingsPersonal.
    2. Make sure the Grant Account Login Access is checked
    3. Click Save.
  12. Email support@talenterover.com to let them know the above steps have been completed and provide the new Sandbox Org ID.
    • If you're using the Textkernel Portal, please additionally provide the "JWT issuer" value from above as well as let them know you have granted account login access.
  13. Bullhorn Support will get back to you.

Email support@talenterover.com as soon as possible to let them know the above steps have been completed. They will take care of the remaining config work.
