Password Reset Emails Not Received

What is going on?

We are receiving reports of password reset emails not arriving. We are investigating these reports to check if this is caused by an issue on our end.

How might you notice this?

Users may not receive password reset emails that were requested through the login page. Password reset emails requested by the administrator will arrive.

Solution?

It is possible for the administrator to request a password reset email via Management > Users by looking up the user:

  1. Go to the Management tab
  2. Click on Users
  3. Look up the user who needs a password reset
  4. Click on the user's name
  5. Click on the email address at 'Send password'
  6. Click 'Ok'
