What's New?

View and manage a person's sources (records of how a candidate was identified for a role) directly within the Invenias Web Application, bringing this capability to the web for the first time. A new SOURCE tab on the Person record displays a grid of that person's sources, with options to add, edit, and remove them, matching the Desktop experience.

Why Does It Matter?

Sources capture how each candidate was identified for a role, building a clear picture of where your best talent comes from. Until now, consultants had to switch to the Desktop application to view or manage a person's sources. This change means consultants can see and maintain source information without leaving the web application, keeping the candidate workflow in one place.

How Do I Enable This?

The SOURCE tab appears on the Person page when the Source Management setting is enabled for your tenant. Sources and their types are configurable per entity type in the Desktop application's System Preferences, and visibility and edit access are controlled by your existing permissions. When adding a source, you can select from the available source types and link it to a record using the Select Record picker, which provides a tab for each linkable entity type.

What's Coming Next?

This first release focuses on People. Source functionality will be extended to Assignments, Companies, and Programmes in future releases, bringing the same experience to those records across the web application.

Resolved Issues

The following issues have been resolved:

AI Search (Alpha)

• Improved follow-up reliability: Search now keeps context across turns, so refinements like "add a column" work as expected.

• More accurate field mapping: Improved handling of salary, consent status, and localised labels for more reliable results.

• Better multi-criteria and CV search: Improved recall when searching across multiple criteria and CV content.

• Greater stability on large queries: Large queries are now handled gracefully, returning a clear message instead of crashing.

Web

• Assignment Placements grid throws an error when Record Management Group columns are added to its display view.

Outlook O365 Add-in:

• Add-in appears to hang for up to ~1 minute before rendering login or the matches page.

Desktop

• Invenias freezes periodically and becomes unresponsive.

• WebTabs fail to load when Invenias Desktop is launched via Control Panel (New Outlook Flow / Experience)

Coming Soon

• AI Search: Ask questions about your Invenias data in natural language and get instant results, no filters or query syntax required.
• Assignment Client Sharing on Web: Select a sharing template, grant or revoke client portal access, create client users from the share dialog, and publish or withdraw individual candidate documents, all without switching to desktop.
• New Outlook and OWA Support for Desktop Emails: Emails created through the Invenias Desktop application will soon appear in New Outlook and Outlook on the web (OWA) via the O365 Add-in. Email templates will be automatically converted to HTML so they render correctly across both clients.

• Invenias Document Builder: A Microsoft Word add-in that turns your templates and live Invenias data into fully editable reports, without leaving Word.
