Resume Power Creating Duplicates

Resume Power (web version) will create duplicate records. This behavior happens if Users upload resumes intended for the same Candidate Contact in the same batch. The Root Cause is due to the resume batching process, Jobsciencedoes not have enough time to determine if duplicates exist within the same batch using default settings. A workaround is available while Jobsciencecontinues efforts to remove this duplicate behavior using the default settings.

Workaround

Please update the 'ResumePower' Custom Settings. This can be completed by a System Admin logged into the database.

1. Navigate to Setup > Develop > Custom Settings.

2. Go to Manage on the Resume Power option.

3. Select Edit.

4. Update the option for Max Number of Parallel Parsing to 1.

5. Save your changes.
