User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Prior to beginning your testing period, establish a strategy with your internal and implementation teams for configuration/functionality validation and go-live acceptance. This ensures your testing phase is streamlined and comprehensive.

Things to consider:

  • Assign key players to test and provide UAT feedback.
  • Test in phases for manageable, thorough review.
  • Build test cases and identify VMS positions for edge-case testing.
  • Test in a non-production environment (NPE) if possible.
  • Establish a move-to-production (MTP) plan.
  • Qualify UAT items as go-live blockers or Support tickets.
  • Identify VMS Sync Admin Tools users and their access level. For example:
    • Adding/updating Credentials
    • Reviewing position delivery/errors
    • Maintaining the Company/Skill Mapping dashboards
