This is Time & Labor functionality. To have Time & Labor enabled, contact your Account Manager.

Time & Labor rules can be set up within the Bullhorn One platform and assigned to Company, Job and Placement records to interpret Timesheet hours and calculate them for payable and billable charges.

This article has instructions for assigning Time & Labor rules to Records.

Steps to Assign Rules to Records

Rules assigned to Company records will copy to any newly created Job and Placement records created from that Company.

Rules assigned to Job records will copy to any Placements records created from that Job.

This only happens on record creation, any changes made to the parent record after the new record is created will not be updated on the new record.

  1. Open the record that the Rule should be assigned to.
  2. Click on the Pay/Bill Rules tab. This tab will show any Rules already added to the record.
  3. Click to Assign Pay Rules or Assign Bill Rules to open a pop up.
    • Pay Rules and Bill Rules must be created separately.
  4. Go to the Time & Labor Rules tab and search for the rules to assign. Multiple Rules can be added here.
  5. Click Assign.
  6. Click Save.

Steps to Edit the Assigned Rules on Records

The rules assigned to records can be edited. The changes will not impact previously processed time, it will change how time is evaluated after the edit is saved.

  1. Open the Record the Rule should be updated on.
  2. Select the Pay/Bill Rules tab. This will show the Rules assigned to this record.
  3. Click Edit.
