Yearly and Current Gross Margin by Branch Report

Overview

The Yearly and Current Gross Margin by Branch report provides gross margin details, based on billable and payable charge records and transactions, broken down by branch.

Bullhorn Support is able to assist you with navigating the sample reports but are unable to build customizations on the reports for you. You'll need a Business Intelligence specialist who is familiar with writing database queries.

Running the Report

When running the Yearly and Current Gross Margin by Branch report, you are prompted to use the following filters:

  • Branch Source (mandatory) - Job owner or candidate owner.

    • PLEASE NOTE: The Branch source filter also allows a value of ‘BTE Branch’. This does not currently work, but has been included for easier implementation in due course.

  • Branch (optional) - use this to narrow down results to specific branches.

  • Transaction date range (optional)

  • Burden (mandatory) - the default value is 20.

Fields in report

When you run the report, two tabs will be available:

  • Yearly tab - Shows sales totals in yearly amounts. The previous 3 years are displayed.

  • Current Dates - Shows sales broken down by dates entered in the Transaction date range filter.

Yearly

Data item in report Definition
Branch The branches that are being considered in the report will be displayed here
Total Gross Margin over the period of years covered in the report
Year 1 (e.g. 2019) Gross Margin for that calendar year will be displayed
Year 2 (e.g. 2020) Gross Margin for that calendar year will be displayed
Year 3 (e.g. 2021) Gross Margin for that calendar year will be displayed
