Pay Visibility Types with Greenshades

Bullhorn offers three different types of pay visibility when integrated with Greenshades. Each option provides different levels of access and requirements depending on the desired functionality.

Paycheck Visibility

This integration syncs data from Greenshades to Bullhorn’s native PayCheck entity after pay runs are complete. For more information see Paycheck Visibility.

Key Details

  • Included as part of the standard Greenshades integration.

  • Requires creation of a Greenshades webhook subscription to sync data to Bullhorn.

  • Typically configured and active for those who have the standard Greenshades setup.

  • Requires several ATS entitlements to grant access to the Candidate tab where the data appears.

Ideal for clients who want paycheck data automatically populated and accessible directly from the Candidate record after each pay run.

Paystub Visibility

This functionality allows users to view the most recent Paystub PDF pulled directly from Greenshades. See Viewing and Downloading Paystubs for more information.

Key Details

  • Developed as part of the standard Greenshades integration (powered by Workato).

  • Requires configuration of Aquarium and custom-action layouts.

  • User Types must have entitlement to the Candidate custom action; no additional entitlements required.

Best suited for teams that only need access to the latest paystub rather than full paycheck history.

Productized “View Paystubs” Functionality

The View Paystubs feature allows users to access any paystub from Greenshades, provided the paystub data has been integrated to Bullhorn’s PayCheck entity.

  • Requires the Paycheck Visibility Integration to function.

  • Built directly into the core Bullhorn product and fully documented in Bullhorn Help.

  • Effectively replaces the Paystub Visibility when configured properly.

  • Requires configuration of a Greenshades Client ID and Secret at the corporation level in Gladmin.

  • Uses the same User Type entitlements as the Paycheck Visibility integration.

Recommended for clients who want full paystub history visibility within Bullhorn, integrated directly into the product experience.
