Default Template Configuration

Overview

Prior to using Exchange, a Default Template must be configured. The Default Template will serve as a baseline for the creation of any new templates and their behaviors.

This will only need to be completed once per implementation - not once per template.

Steps

Create a New Template

Create a new template for the new client to be integrated.

  1. Name the template.
  2. Add any Clients that the template will match to within Bullhorn Time & Expense.
  3. Make any necessary adjustments to the automation settings that were pulled from the Default Template.
  4. Add contact info if notifications will be sent for this template.

Send File to Bullhorn Time & Expense

Provide file instance and access to Bullhorn Time & Expense for configuration and mapping.

  1. Send the Client name, VMS name, and VMS access to Bullhorn Time & Expense.
  2. Send an instance of the File for this template to Bullhorn Time & Expense.
  3. Outline any filters that need to be applied to the template by Bullhorn Time & Expense.
    • For instance, if there are multiple customers or multiple agency data in the file, this needs to be outlined.
  4. Bullhorn Time & Expense will implement access and mapping for the new template.
    • Mappings exist for all common VMS vendors and reports should be made to match those mappings when possible.
  5. Bullhorn Time & Expense will implement any filters for the new template (i.e. to filter out a brand, client, etc.)
  6. Bullhorn Time & Expense will inform the Agency that the template is ready.

Processing the Template

  • Agency will inform Bullhorn Time & Expense that they are ready to start processing the template.
  • Bullhorn Time & Expense will enable the template for processing.
