Understanding Web Time Entry (WTE)

Web Time Entry (WTE) is an online self-service portal for agency employees to enter their own time for their assignments. This article gives you an overview of Bullhorn Time & Expense's Web Time Entry feature.

If you are an employee looking for additional support, contact your agency or recruiter. They will be able to put in a Bullhorn Support ticket on your behalf or provide you with a support number to call.

Web Time Entry has a many benefits and key features:

  • Online Self-Service Portal allowing for quick, accurate time entry from any device.

  • Supports multiple time entry types: In and Out, Hours per Day, Monthly, 9 X 80.

  • Supports Break Exceptions.

  • Supports Project entry, Units entry, and User Define Fields (UDF) for optimal tracking

  • Self-Service Expense Entry allowing employees to enter on-the-job expenses for reimbursement and attach receipts to their expense reports. To learn more see Expenses.

Bullhorn does not store payroll information. If you are looking for pay statements or need to update direct deposit information, contact your agency directly.

Default WTE Workflow

The following steps outline the default workflow for Web Time Entry, from assignment creation to time submission. Some agency's may have customizations or additional steps in their workflow.

  1. An Agency creates an assignment for an employee and it's received by BTE.

  2. Employee registers for a WTE account and finds their assignment (part of the registration process). See our Registration Guide to learn more.

    The default URL for Web Time Entry is http://mypeoplenet.com, but your employer may use a different URL. Check your onboarding documents from your employer, or contact your employer directly.

  3. Employee logs into WTE to enter time. See Logging into Web Time Entry for steps.

  4. From the WTE Dashboard, Employee choose a weekending date to open a timesheet.
