Quick Search
Overview
Quick Search allows a user to quickly find a record based on basic key information for the record (described below). The Quick Search can be found on the Outlook Ribbon Toolbar, at the top of List Views, and in the Lookup Controls.
Quick Search not only finds records quickly, but also orders them intelligently based on your search term and the type of record you're searching for. This is different to searching in a grid, as the sort order in a grid is always defined by the Display View you're using.
The new Quick Search is a change to the navigation from previous versions of

- Name
- Company
- Job Title
- Email Address
- Person Record Number
Companies
The following information is used when searching for Companies:
- Name
- Synonyms
- Company Record Number
Assignments
The following information is used when searching for Assignments:
- Name
- Company
- Internal Reference Number
- External Reference Number
- Assignment Record Number
Programmes
The following information is used when searching for Programmes:
- Name
- Programme Type
- Programme Record Number
