2023.11 Highlights

In this month's release, we've added the ability to view Last Journal Contact into Invenias People grids. At a glance you can see the last time someone was contacted, what it was about, and who it was from, without the need to open the Person record.

You can add columns into People display views (e.g. Global People List) to show:

  • Last Contact From
  • Last Contact Subject
  • Last Contact Date/Time
  • Last Contact Type (e.g. "Business Development")

Note: This feature excludes any Journal items marked as Confidential.

Also included in this release is a major performance boost in the startup time of the Invenias desktop app. You will be prompted with an on-screen Windows notification to update Invenias:

This update isn’t required to continue using Invenias, but once applied, the startup time for Invenias will be significantly improved.

Fixes

Desktop

  • Assignment Dashboard page - Days Open widget logic updated to reflect Web app logic.
  • Sorting on various User columns (e.g. Record Owner, Created By) doesn’t list results alphabetically.
  • People Records with "Declined" GDPR Consent Status can show as "Expired" not "Declined" in People Grids.
  • Loading spinner persists when saving Tasks from Outlook to Invenias.
  • Word Add-in - Save document to Invenias, programme search not working as expected.

Web

  • Web Reporting - Intermittent issues with generating reports.
  • Height of scoring comment box adjusted to replicate desktop behavior.
  • Critically overdue banner does not appear when next milestone is critically overdue.
  • Error clicking Create New Assignment from Company list.
  • Floating text box appearing in notes fields in packages.
  • Bulk Milestone selection only works from Milestone Number column.

Upcoming Security Enhancement

What is changing?

We are making efforts to further enhance the security of the Invenias by Bullhorn platform. We will therefore be implementing a limit on the number of days that a user can be inactive before their account is auto-disabled. This will be set to 90 days.

When is this happening?

From 2nd December 2023, all Invenias user accounts inactive for 90 or more days will be auto-disabled.

The process will run monthly circa the first weekend of each month.

This change will apply to all accounts including NPE (Non Production Environment) and Production Environments.

What if I still need to access these accounts?

If a disabled user account needs to be re-enabled, any user administrator can re-enable the account via the Admin portal in the Invenias web app.
