Announcement - End of Support for Windows 8.1.

Microsoft ceased extended support of Windows 8.1 in January 2023, and from the 2023.03 release, Invenias will no longer be supporting this version of Windows. This means we will no longer test for compatibility with Windows 8.1 and this may result in issues accessing and using Invenias. Whilst the impact on Invenias may not be immediate, continuing to use Windows 8.1 also poses some risk to the security of your PC. So we would advise anyone using Windows 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10 or 11 as soon as possible. Click here for our minimum and recommended system requirements.

Upcoming Security Enhancement

What is changing?

We are making efforts to further enhance the security of the Invenias by Bullhorn platform. We will therefore be implementing a limit on the number of days that a user can be inactive before their account is auto-disabled. This will be set to 90 days.

When is this happening?

From May 2023, all Invenias user accounts inactive for 90 or more days will be auto-disabled.

This change will apply to all accounts including NPE (Non-Production Environment) and Production Environments.

What if I still need to access these accounts?

If a disabled user account needs to be re-enabled, any user administrator can re-enable a disabled user account via the admin portal in the Invenias web app.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to the Invenias support team or your account manager.

Will this remove the user license?

Removing the user license is a separate step that isn't automated. Users with the User Administrator permission can perform user management functions such as assigning/unassigning licenses, enabling/disabling individual user accounts from the User Management section of the Essentials web app. It's possible to filter the users list to display disabled users with licenses still assigned for easy management.
