Add Action From Lightning Pages to VMS Sync Submittals for Jobscience

To take advantage of the features mentioned in this documentation, your Org needs to be using version 7.16 or newer. See Release Notes for more details about which features were introduced in each release. If you would like to upgrade to the current release, contact Bullhorn for Salesforce Support.

One way you can add the VMS Submittal button action is through the Lightning Pages/Layouts.

Caution: Your Lighting Record Page must be set up with Dynamic Actions/Buttons in order to utilize this step. If it is not, you can choose to move forward in one of the following ways:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Job > Lightning Record Pages.
  2. Select the desired lightning record page (EX: Job 2 Column).
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Lightning App Builder, select the Highlights Panel.
  5. Click Add Action.
  6. Enter “VMS” or “Submit” and click Done
  7. Drag button to desired location on page.
  8. Click Save.

The button is now visible on the record!

Best Practice: Reload the page to make sure the button appears on the record. If it doesn't, try selecting different layout or add the button to the current layout to ensure it's visible.
