Add Action From Page Layout to VMS Sync Submittals for Jobscience

Another way you can add the VMS Submittal button action is through the page layouts.

1. Navigate to Setup > Object Manager.
2. Select the object you would like to add the button to (EX: Job).
3. Click Page Layouts.
4. Select the page layout (EX:  Permanent Job) you would like the VMS Submittal button to be on.
   • If your Job has multiple page layouts, you can quickly identify which layouts you'll need to add the VMS Submittals button action to. For details, see Multiple Page Layouts.
5. Click Mobile & Lightning Actions.
   
6. In the Quick Find, enter "VMS Submittal".
7. Select VMS Submittal and then drag and drop it to an Action layout (EX: Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions).
8. Click Save.
