Converting an Inquiry

  1. Navigate to Inquiries.

  2. From the View drop-down menu, choose Unconverted and proceed toGo!

  3. Pick the desired inquiry by clicking on its name.

  4. Select the Convert button.
    The following screen appears:

  1. Enter the following information:

    • Create or select an Account.
      If a similar Account is found, it will be available as an option. If not, a new Account must be created.

    • If applicable, select the Populate Job checkbox and enter the details of the job.
      This will create a new Assignment.

    • If desired, select the Create New Contact checkbox.
      This will create a new Contact under this Account.

    • If desired, you may also enter a related task at this time.

  2. When you are finished, select Convert, or Cancel to discard your changes.

The Following Fields Will Carry Over When Creating a New Job Order:

  1. Job Title

  2. Description

  3. Company Name

  4. Source

  5. Job Description

  6. Min / Max Salary

  7. Created By & Job Order Owner = becomes the User that converts the Inquiry/New Business

  8. Job order Record Type = default from the converter's profile

The Following Fields Will Carry Over When Creating a New Account:

  1. Created By & Account Owner = becomes the User that converts the Inquiry/New Business

  2. Account Record Type = default from the converter's profile

  3. Billing Address

  4. Industry

  5. Phone
