Converting an Inquiry

Navigate to Inquiries.

From the View drop-down menu, choose Unconverted and proceed toGo!

Pick the desired inquiry by clicking on its name.

Enter the following information:

Create or select an Account.
If a similar Account is found, it will be available as an option. If not, a new Account must be created. -
If applicable, select the Populate Job checkbox and enter the details of the job.
This will create a new Assignment. -
If desired, select the Create New Contact checkbox.
This will create a new Contact under this Account. -
If desired, you may also enter a related task at this time.

When you are finished, select Convert, or Cancel to discard your changes.
The Following Fields Will Carry Over When Creating a New Job Order:

Job Title
-
Description
-
Company Name
-
Source
-
Job Description
-
Min / Max Salary

Created By & Job Order Owner = becomes the User that converts the Inquiry/New Business

Job order Record Type = default from the converter's profile

Created By & Account Owner = becomes the User that converts the Inquiry/New Business
