What is New Business / Inquiry?
New Business records are a method of quickly adding potential Assignments to your system. These may be added manually or via a website and later converted into Assignments and Contacts.
Creating a New Business record

Click the New Business tab to display the New Business screen.

Click the New button.
The New Business 'Edit'screen is displayed. -
Enter the following Information:

Company Name (Required)
-
Contact First and Last Name (Required)
-
Contact Title
-
Description
-
Source
-
-
Enter the following Assignment Details:
-
Job Title
-
Estimated Start Date
-
Minimum and Maximum Salary
-
Fee Percentage
-
-
Click theSavebutton.
Alternatively, click theSave & New button to save and create an additional Account.
Cloning a New Business record

From the New Businesstab, select the desired New Business by clicking on its name.

Click the Clone button in the New Business Detail section.
A pre-populatedNew Businessscreen will appear. -
Enter any additional details and then click theSavebutton.
Editing a New Business record

From the New Business screen, select the desired New Business by clicking on its name.

Click the Edit button in the New Business Detail section.

Edit the desired fields.

Click theSavebutton when you are done to save your changes or theCancelbutton to cancel your changes.
Viewing a New Business record

Click the New Business tab at the top of your screen.
By default, the most recent New Business records are displayed.Note: To see a different list, select the desired view from the drop-down View menu and click theGo!button.
Deleting a New Business record

From the New Businesstab, select the desired New Business record by clicking on its name.

Click the Delete button in the New Business Detailsection.
A dialog box will appear requesting confirmation. -
Click theOKbutton.
