Dashboards: Collapsible Filters, Sidebar, and Tab Support

What's New?

We have made three enhancements to the Dashboards experience.

  • Collapsible Filters: Top-level filters are now collapsed by default. Select the filter icon in the toolbar to expand or hide them. When collapsed, a tooltip displays a summary of any active filters.

  • New Sidebar: The dashboard controls, Edit, Save, Save As, New, and Open, have moved from the toolbar into a collapsible sidebar. Use the arrow toggle to expand or collapse it.

  • Tab Support: Dashboards now support multiple tabs, allowing you to organize panels into separate, focused sections within a single dashboard.

Note: All existing dashboards have been automatically converted to single-tab dashboards.

Note: Scheduled Reports currently export the first tab only.

Why Does It Matter?

Collapsible filters and a consolidated sidebar mean more of your dashboard is visible at once. Tab support makes it easier to structure and navigate complex dashboards without needing multiple separate dashboards.

How Do I Enable It?

Available by default.
