Time Entry Integration Settings

Overview

This article contains information regarding the various Time Entry settings in the BBO / Onboarding Control Panel and how they affect placements pulling into the system via the ATS integration.

Settings

These settings can be found by accessing the Control Panel then selecting Integrations > ATS > Bullhorn.

Setting Field Options Description

Assignment.Timesheet.Entry

Text Field:

  • ATS Mapping

The field that BBO will pull from to determine the timesheet entry type.

Assignment.Timesheet.Timesheet.Entry Mappings

Integration Value / Bullhorn Back Office Value

When the value in Assignment.Timesheet.Entry pulls in, BBO converts the value of the field in ATS on the left column, to the corresponding BBO value in the right column.

The right-hand column should be one of the following time entry types:

  • Hours
  • Basic Hours
  • Time In/Out
  • Timeclock
  • Group Timesheet Basic
  • Group Timesheet Hours
  • Group Timesheet In/Out
  • Group Timesheet Week

Entering a value other than one of the above will not be recognized by BBO and will cause the following ATS error when the system tries to pull the placement in:

  • "Could Not Update Doe, John (Tester) (100): Assignment: Invalid Time Entry"

It is recommended that the last mapping be a wildcard option (integration value is "*") so that a default value can be set in the event someone does not select a time entry option on a placement.

 

Assignment.Timesheet.Timesheet.Simple Entry

Text Field:

  • ATS Mapping

Any placements with data that fits the criteria entered here will be locked into Simple Mode for time entry.

 

Examples:

  • correlatedCustomText1.in(Recruiting, Testing)
    • A line like this can be used to restrict placements in particular branches to Simple Mode..
  • job.corporation.id.in(100, 101, 102)
    • This line will lock any placements from companies with an integration ID in the parenthesis to Simple Mode.
