August 2026 Release: PowerNotes Resolved Issues
Remove TR1__Call_List__c Lookup from Activity Object
-
Feature: PowerNotes
-
Level of Configuration: None
The TR1__Call_List__c lookup field has been removed from the Activity (Task/Event) object in the managed package. This field was introduced as part of the Call List feature in the 2026.03 release. Its presence in the package caused installation failures on customer orgs that already had an unmanaged lookup field pointing to the same Call List object, forcing those customers to either migrate data or abandon their own custom fields.
There is a mandatory post-upgrade step for any org upgrading to 2026.08 or later. Follow the steps below after upgrading.
Delete the field
After upgrading to 2026.08, delete the Call List field from the Activity object:
-
Go to .
-
Find the Call List field and click Delete.
The field is soft-deleted and remains in the org for 15 days. To skip the grace period, go to the list of deleted fields and click Erase on the deleted field.
Restore the Create a Power Note action (if used from Call List Members Omnitable)
After deleting the field, the Create a Power Note action will no longer work out of the box when used from the packaged Call List Members Omnitable. To restore it, first create a new custom Call List lookup field on the Activity object, then update the Power Notes configuration to reference it.
Create a custom Call List lookup field:
-
Go to .
-
Click New.
-
Select Lookup Relationship and choose Call List as the related object.
-
Enter a field label and name (for example, Call List) and assign access to the required profiles.
-
Save.
Update the Power Notes configuration:
-
Go to
-
Click on the Managed Records link.
-
Select the Call List (TR1__Call_List) record and click Edit.
-
In the Task Field Name field, enter the API name of the new Call List lookup field you created.
-
Save the record.
