Tax Exemptions

Overview

There may be scenarios in which you will not want to collect sales tax for certain customers, placements, or expenses. This article contains information on how to apply Tax Exemptions to Location, Company, or Placement records.

Before You Begin

Tax Exemptions

Locations

1. Navigate to the Company record.
2. Select the Locations tab.
3. Choose the location you wish to edit.
4. Toggle Decline Taxes on Location to Yes.
5. A confirmation window will open.
   Select Okay to continue.
6. Click Save to confirm your changes.

Company

1. Navigate to the Company record.
2. Select the Edit tab.
3. Locate the Exemption Status dropdown and select Exempt.
4. Click Save to confirm your changes.

Placement

1. Navigate to the Placement record.
2. Select the Edit tab.
3. Locate the Exemption Status dropdown and select Exempt.
4. Click Save to confirm your changes.
