Minimum System Requirements

  • Windows 11, 10 (64-bit or 32-bit)
  • Internet Explorer 11
  • Microsoft Office 2021*, 2019*, 2016*
  • Suitable 2 GHz Single Core or 1.6 GHz Dual Core or faster Processor**
  • 8 GB RAM***
  • 5 GB of available space on the hard disk drive
  • Screen resolution of 1366x768 (Widescreen) or 1280x1024 (4:3)
    • Ideally Larger (we recommend HD 1920x1080)
  • Internet Access with 1mbps (upload and download).
    • A higher bandwidth will absolutely improve your Invenias experience!

Recommended System Requirements

  • Windows 11, 10 (64-bit or 32-bit)

  • Microsoft Office 365 (64-bit for Office)*
  • Intel i-3 to i-5 Series Processors**
  • 16 GB RAM***
  • 5 GB of available space on the hard disk drive
  • Screen resolution of 1920x1080
  • Dedicated Graphics Card 512MB+
  • Internet Access with at least 2mbps (upload and download) or higher bandwidth for each person:
    • Direct ethernet connection (not wifi)
    • Ideally Fibre based Network Connection

* We recommend installing Office in the default 64 bit version, as it has advantages over 32 bit. As 64 bit apps can access more memory compared to 32 bit apps, it can result in hugely improved Invenias performance and stability.

** ARM Based processors:

  • Invenias Desktop App: Devices with ARM based processors are not compatible with the Invenias desktop app.

  • Essentials Web App: The Essentials web app is browser based, it can be fully utilized on ARM devices (inc MAC devices), alongside the O365 add-in for saving emails directly from the Outlook for MAC application.

Use the Essentials Web App to get around ARM based processor constrictions.

*** Windows and Office components alone can utilize over 4GB of RAM, therefore we advise 8GB as the minimum RAM for a reasonable user experience.

For optimal performance, we recommend using 16GB of RAM, especially when running other desktop applications and multiple browser windows concurrently with Invenias.

Citrix/Windows Server Environments

There are many customers running the Invenias desktop app successfully in these environments, but we should be clear that we do not support running Invenias in these environments for the following reasons:

  • Due to limitless variation in environmental configurations and resource allocation, we do not test the desktop app on a Citrix/Windows server environment.
  • It can be extremely difficult for our support team to pinpoint environmental issues, due to configuration variables and the heavily managed nature of these environments.

If you choose to use a Citrix/Windows Server environment and a dependent component has a problem that requires a re-install or restart (e.g. MS Office, Visual Studio tools, graphics driver etc), all users can be disrupted.

Additional Requirements

Below lists a few additional requirements:

  • Microsoft Exchange in 'Cached Mode' or POP3.
    • We do not support IMAP.
  • Ensure you only have a single version/edition of Microsoft Office installed.
  • All outstanding Microsoft Updates (Windows and Office) must be run prior to installing Invenias software.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher.
  • Internet Access with sensible bandwidth per user.
  • Administrator Permissions on the local machine to install the software.

Antivirus & Security Software

Invenias is designed to inter-operate with many types of software; however some security and anti-spyware applications may cause problems and restrict specific features or functionality. If you are unsure about your current security or anti-spyware software, please email inveniassupport@bullhorn.com for further advice.

Web

The Invenias web application (https://<companyname>.invenias.com) is supported in the latest version of the following browsers:

  • Chrome
  • Edge
  • Internet Explorer
  • Safari

Please ensure your web browser is kept up-to-date so that you're always running the latest version.

Mobile

The Invenias X mobile app is available on both iOS (Apple) and Android (Google) compatible devices.

iOS

Requires iOS 11.3 or later. Compatible with iPhone and iPad.

Android

Requires Android v6.0 and later.
