Invenias Release Notes
October 2025 (2025.10)
FAST Ring: From September 23
General Availability Ring: Starting October 6
Since the last release (2025.09), we have worked hard to enrich your Invenias experience. We are excited to share our latest updates with you:
- Upgrades
- Resolved issues
Desktop
There are important updates for the desktop application that require your attention for continued use.
End of Support for Windows 10
From October 2025, we will no longer support the Invenias desktop application on Windows 10.
Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10. Continued use may lead to degraded performance or compatibility issues.
Mandatory Bootstrapper Update
Starting with this release, an updated version of the Invenias Desktop Application Bootstrapper is required.
- If you install Invenias via MSI, you must use the new MSI provided with this release. The previous version will no longer install the application correctly.
- If Invenias is installed or updated through the standard (non-MSI) method, no action is needed. The bootstrapper will update automatically as part of the normal process.
Platform
Identity Server Upgrade
We are upgrading our identity server infrastructure over the coming weeks to enhance security and performance. The transition will be seamless for users, although you may be prompted to sign back into your Invenias client applications once your tenant has migrated to the new system.
- For Standard Invenias Login Users: No action is required on your part beyond re-authenticating when prompted. We'll handle all technical details behind the scenes.
- For Organizations Using Office 365 SSO: Your Azure/Entra administrator will need to add a new redirect URI to your SSO application configuration. Add "https://{your-subdomain}.invenias.com/idp" to your allowed redirect URI list in the Entra Admin Center.
Customers using Office 365 SSO will be migrated to the new identity server solution last in our phased rollout approach and will not be moved until we have confirmation that the new redirect URI has been added to avoid sign-in errors. We will be sending you direct communication with specific timing and additional details relevant to your migration shortly.
-
For Customers with Integrations: If you have integrations between Invenias and 3rd party applications (including Invenias Market Place Partners), these should continue working as usual. We will redirect requests to the new identity service.
