FAST Ring: From August 13

Since the last release (2025.08), we have worked hard to enrich your Invenias experience. We are excited to share our latest updates with you:
- New feature
- Resolved issues
Bull's Eye
In this release, our Bull's Eye update hits the target with the addition of a row highlighting in web grids
What's New?
You can now apply colour highlights to rows in relational grids within the web app, replicating the existing desktop functionality. A new "Highlight" option has been added to the right-click context menu, supporting both individual and bulk row selection.
Why Does It Matter?
This feature allows users to quickly emphasise key records or indicate status at a glance. It ensures consistency between the desktop and web views, improving usability and visual clarity across platforms.
How Do I Enable This?
Generally Available: No setup is required. All users have access to this functionality. Simply right-click on a row in any supported relational grid and click Highlight to apply or clear a colour. This works without needing to display a separate highlight column.
Web
Auto Filter Row Support for Dynamic Category List Columns
What's New?
The auto filter row now supports filtering dynamic Category list columns in both main and relational display views on the web.
Why Does It Matter?
- Improves data navigation: Users can quickly filter and find relevant information in dynamic Category list columns without extra steps.
- Enhances usability: Consistent filtering experience across main and relational views simplifies workflows.
- Saves time: Enables faster data analysis and reduces the effort needed to locate specific categories.
How Do I Enable This?
Generally Available: This feature is enabled by default; no action is required.
Desktop
There are important updates for the desktop application that require your attention for continued use.
End of Support for Windows 10
From October 2025, we will no longer support the Invenias desktop application on Windows 10.
Microsoft is ending support for Windows 10. Continued use may lead to degraded performance or compatibility issues.
Platform
Identity Server Upgrade
We are upgrading our identity server infrastructure over the coming weeks to enhance security and performance. The transition will be seamless for users, although you may be prompted to sign back into your Invenias client applications once your tenant has migrated to the new system.
- For Standard Invenias Login Users: No action is required on your part beyond re-authenticating when prompted. We'll handle all technical details behind the scenes.
- For Organizations Using Office 365 SSO: Your Azure/Entra administrator will need to add a new redirect URI to your SSO application configuration. Add "https://{your-subdomain}.invenias.com/idp" to your allowed redirect URI list in the Entra Admin Center.
Customers using Office 365 SSO will be migrated to the new identity server solution last in our phased rollout approach and will not be moved until we have confirmation that the new redirect URI has been added to avoid sign-in errors. We will be sending you direct communication with specific timing and additional details relevant to your migration shortly.
-
For Customers with Integrations: If you have integrations between Invenias and 3rd party applications (including Invenias Market Place Partners), these should continue working as usual. We will redirect requests to the new identity service.
