Finding Decision-Makers
Overview
The LinkedIn Browser Extension isn't just useful searching for candidates - it can also be used to find decision-makers within specific locations or at specific companies! This article explains how to use the LinkedIn Browser Extension to find decision-makers.
Using the LinkedIn Extension to Find Decision-Makers
- In LinkedIn Recruiter, navigate to the Advanced page, open the LinkedIn Browser Extension and select New Search.
- Input the job title of the decision-maker you want to target - e.g. "Head of" and "Product".
General Decision-Maker Search
If you want to find all decision-makers with this title in a specific location, simply enter the location and click Send to Recruiter.
Specific Industries or Companies
If you would like to target decision-makers from particular companies, you can do so by typing in either a singular company or a company group into the Companies field. When you click Send to Recruiter, make sure that the Company filter on the left side is set to "current", to ensure you're seeing decision-makers who currently work for the companies you are targeting.
