This guide will help you understand and fix common error messages you might see when searching external job boards in Bullhorn. Simply find the job board you’re working with and follow the solution listed for your error.

CV-Library

Error Message What It Means How To Fix It

"Invalid Username/Password"

Personal credentials were used instead of shared team credentials.

Make sure you are entering your team login (same username and password for the whole team). If you’re unsure of the team credentials, contact CV-Library or your account manager.

“You do not have permission to access this service. Please call 01252 810995 for further information.”

Possible causes include:

  • Your email is not linked to your team’s shared CV-Library account.

  • The CV-Library credentials saved in Bullhorn are incorrect.

Contact CV-Library on the number provided. They'll be able to advise on next steps.

“User is already in session”

CV-Library has detected multiple login attempts within 24 hours.

Contact CV-Library and let them know you’re receiving this error. They can clear the active session so you can log in again.

CW Jobs / Jobsite / TotalJobs

Error Message What It Means How To Fix It

“No CV Search Licence - contact the job board for access”

Your CV Search Licence is not active for that board.

Contact the job board or your account manager to enable the CV Search Licence.

“Limit of Unsuccessful Recruiter Login Attempts”

Incorrect password entered too many times.

Reset your password directly on the job board, then update your credentials in Bullhorn.

“Your CV Database contract has expired”

Your subscription for CV access has ended.

Contact the job board or account manager to renew your contract.

“Your organisation has reached its limit”

You have used all available credits.

Contact the job board or account manager to purchase additional credits.

“Recruiter account disabled”

The account is disabled on the job board side.

Try logging into the job board directly. If you cannot log in, contact the job board.

Dice

Error Message What It Means How To Fix It

“You have reached your profile view limit - Please contact Dice”

Your Dice credit limit has been reached.

Contact Dice to increase your credit limit.

“Your Dice account has been locked”

Incorrect password used five times in a row.

Reset your password on Dice, then update the credentials in Bullhorn.

 

 

 

Monster

Error Message What It Means How To Fix It

“Error from Job board we are investigating”

The CAT code is incorrect or your contract has expired.

Contact Monster to confirm whether the issue is related to your CAT code or an expired contract. They can resolve this for you.

Reed

Error Message What It Means How To Fix It

“CV Subscription not active”

CV access has not been activated for your account.

Activate via Reed:

1. Go to reed.co.uk/recruiter and sign in.

2. Click Activate your CV access.

If you cannot complete activation, contact Reed to enable your license.
