My Adapt: Queue
The queue allows the submittal of large batch jobs for asynchronous background processing. Once submitted, users can continue working within the application while the system processes large transactions in the background. The Queue page displays all queue processes based on filtering criteria.
Basic Functionality
The Queue grid displays all jobs submitted to the queue based on the filtering criteria. You can see the status of the job, the process ID, the number of items in the job, the process name and other information.
To see detail on a specific job sent to the queue, select the job in the queue grid (by clicking in the radio button on the row of the job) and click Show Process Items. This displays each individual item in the job and is helpful for both determining the records upon which the job was run and where an error occurred, if any.
Filtering the Grid
You can filter the grid by clicking on the Searchbutton and then using the following fields:
- Process ID: Use this option to look for a specific process ID.
- Process Name: Use the Code Selection icon to select the type of job (e.g. Batch Proof, Contact Import, Employer Costing) you want to view.
- Process Status: Use the Code Selection icon to select the job status you want to view.
- Submitted By: Use the Look Up to select the user who submitted the job.
- Submitted Within: Enter a number between 0 and 90 to determine the dates you want to view. If you enter 90, the grid shows all jobs run within the last 90 days. If you enter 0, the grid displays all jobs run today.
The fields work based on AND logic. Therefore, if you select a Process Name and a Process Status, the job (process) must meet BOTH criteria to show up on the grid.
