CCPA
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a privacy law enacted in California, which took effect on January 1, 2020. It gives California residents more control over their personal data and how businesses collect, use, and share it. The CCPA is designed to enhance privacy rights for individuals and create transparency in data practices, particularly with respect to how companies A Company is the organization where the contact works.
