Timesheets

The Timesheet feature allows users to view timesheets in a list or individually on Company, Job, Placement, and Candidate records. Timesheets show the time entered in Bullhorn Time & Expense for a Placement and the evaluation of the time entries based on the Pay and Bill Rules that were applied.

Before You Begin

To have Time & Labor enabled, reach out to your Account Manager.

In order to see the Timesheets list and tab on Company, Job, Placement, and Candidate records; users will need user type entitlements. To have these updated please reach out to Bullhorn One Support.

Viewing Timesheets

Timesheets can be viewed in a List view or on the Timesheets tab on a Company, Job, Placement, or Candidate record. Use the following steps to navigate to a timesheet record through the List view:

  1. From the Bullhorn Menu, navigate to Pay & Bill > Timesheets.
  2. Click on the Timesheet ID number to open the record or choose the slideout on the list view.
  3. The tabs on the Timesheet record and slideout contain the following information:
    • Time Tab: Shows raw time data as entered and before rules are applied during evaluation.
    • Pay Transactions: Shows the pay transaction related to the timesheet entries. These represent evaluated transactions based on rules applied and used by the Time & Labor engine on raw time entries. Each transaction also shows the Source, User, and Date Last Modified.
    • Bill Transactions: Shows the bill transaction related to the timesheet entries. These represent evaluated transactions based on rules applied and used by the Time & Labor engine on raw time entries. Each transaction also shows the Source, User, and Date Last Modified.
    • Activity: Shows the Timesheet Activity History, including who initiated the activity, what system it originated in, and when it generated on the Timesheet.
    • Files: Shows the files associated with the timesheet.
    • Issues: Shows a list of issues / problems related to the timesheet and their status. This list shows workflow problems that users can use for self-diagnosis and resolve problems based on the issue details and action suggested. Users can then mark the issue as Dismissed, Resolved or leave them Open. Issues will only show on the Timesheet page view, they are not available on the slideout view.

Timesheets submitted in Bullhorn Time & Expense after Time & Labor is enabled for Bullhorn One can be viewed in the ATS even if the Placement has not been enabled for Time and Labor.
