Enabling Invoicing Hold Status

You may need to delay invoicing clients for several different reasons including charge verification, approval processes, batch invoicing, etc. Invoicing Hold Status allows you to easily manage invoicing holds on individual Billable Charges to control whether those charges get invoiced.

Invoicing Hold Status is enabled from your corporation through field maps. Follow the steps below to enable this feature.

  1. From your Bullhorn ATS Menu, select Field Mappings.

  2. Open Billing Charge.

  3. Unhide the following fields by unchecking the Hidden check box: billableChargeHoldStatusLookupID and onHoldComment.

  4. Open Invoice Terms.

  5. Unhide  billableChargeHoldStatusLookupID by unchecking the Hidden check box.

  6. Open Invoice Terms Template.

  7. Unhide  billableChargeHoldStatusLookupID by unchecking the Hidden check box.

  8. Click Save.

You can now manage the Invoice Hold Status and Reason from the Billable Charge slideout and the Billable Charge list screen action option "Manage Invoicing Hold". The Invoicing Hold Status has two default options: On Hold and Hold Released. Additional statuses are customizable to each corporation.
