Package Manager

The Package ManagerClosed The tool for grouping Forms into Packages is your central hub for creating, organizing, and managing packages in Talent Platform. Accessible via Configuration > Packages in the Main Menu, it provides a comprehensive list of all existing packages. Users can sort and filter the list for easy navigation, create new packages, and manage existing ones by adding or removing forms, updating details, or deleting packages entirely. This tool streamlines package management, making it simple and efficient to tailor packages to your needs.

If you are on the classic version of the PackageClosed A group of Forms grouped together based on Location, Client, or other internal design that can be assigned as a single Task Manager, reach out to support to have this version enabled.

Package List and Columns

The Packages page provides an organized list of all available packages, with detailed columns to help you understand and manage your packages effectively:

  • Package Name/Package ID: Displays the package name and its unique ID number, which can be used in API calls.
  • Created By/On: Shows the name of the user who created the package and the date it was created.
    • Data in this column will only appear for packages created after the new UI is enabled, as this information is being captured from that point forward. Any blank fields indicate that the package was created before this update and therefore lacks historical records for this column.
  • Last Updated By/On: Indicates the user who last edited the package and the date of the most recent update.
    • Data in this column will only appear for packages created after the new UI is enabled, as this information is being captured from that point forward. Any blank fields indicate that the package was created before this update and therefore lacks historical records for this column.
  • Internal Description: Contains a brief description of the package, such as its purpose or intended use.
  • Tags: Tags help organize and group packages efficiently. Tags can also be used by Bullhorn Automation for streamlined workflows.
  • Forms: Lists the forms included in each package, providing a quick view of its components.

Each column corresponds to a filter in the Advanced Search feature, allowing for seamless navigation and organization.

Advanced Search

The Advanced Search feature, accessible by clicking Advanced Search on the Packages page, provides robust filtering options to quickly locate specific packages. The filters align with the package list columns:

  • Package Name/ID: Quickly find packages by their unique name or package ID.
  • Created By: Filter by the user who created the package, and narrow results further with a date range for when it was created.
  • Last Edited By: Locate packages based on the user who last updated them, with an option to filter by a date range.
  • Internal Description: Search for packages containing specific keywords in their description.
  • Tags: Organize and group packages by filtering based on tags.
  • Forms Included: Find packages by filtering for specific forms included within them.

This intuitive feature helps streamline package management, saving time and ensuring quick access to the exact resources needed.
