Daxtra Search & LinkedIn Basic Access

With recent changes from LinkedIn, Daxtra was forced to rebuild the integration. The rebuild requires changes to the Job Board logins for continued use. Please follow the below steps, option 1 could be completed by the End User. If option 1 is not possible, continue to option 2, which requires the Daxtra Search Admin credentials. If you are the System Admin to the Jobscience Org but do not know the Daxtra Search Admin credentials, connect with Jobscience Customer Success for the information.

Option 1, as End User

  1. Navigate to Daxtra Search.

  2. Go to User Preferences.

  3. Scroll down to Managed Job Board Logins.

  4. Click Edit for LinkedIn Basic.

  5. Change the value in Job Board Name from LinkedIn Basic to LinkedIn Basic II.

  6. Save your changes.

Option 2, as Daxtra Search Admin

  1. Navigate to Daxtra Search.

  2. Go to Admin.

  3. Enter the Admin Login.

  4. Select Submit.

  5. Scroll down to Administration Tasks - Client.

  6. Pick Job Board Logins.

  7. Click Edit for LinkedIn Basic.

    Note: You may need to tab through the different pages depending amount of Logins created for use (logins are sorted alphabetical).
  8. Change the value in Job Board Name from 'LinkedIn Basic' to 'LinkedIn Basic II'.

  9. Save your changes.

Repeat steps 7-9 as needed to move all Users over to the new integration.

Once completed, access the 'Search' subtab.

Enable the 'LinkedIn Basic II' option on the left sidebar.

Perform a basic search, example "Sales Manager' to ensure results are returned.
