Daxtra Search & Source Tracking

Daxtra Search allows for searching of outside Job Boards, examples include CareerBuilder, Seek, Indeed. You can add the qualified results straight into Jobscience and the 'Candidate Source' Field will populate. There are some configuration to setup to allow this process to happen automatically, the directions are listed below. These directions should be completed by the System Admin.

Prep Work

  1. Determine which Job Boards are in use for Daxtra Search:

    • Navigate to 'Daxtra Search'.

    • Access Admin.

    • Log in using the Daxtra Admin credentials, if you do not have these reach out to Jobscience Customer Success

    • Select Job Board Logins.

    • Review the list, could be many pages, and make note of the different Job Boards in use.

  2. Obtain Source ID's

    • Navigate to Source.

    • Find the Source Record(s) that match the Job Boards in use for Daxtra Search. If one does not exist, create a new Record

      • New Records should be Active = True.

    • In the URL, locate the last portion and make note of the value.

      • Example URL = https://na00.salesforce.com/a0Y70000002vv9X

    • Access this site to obtain the 18 digit ID of the Source Record.

Add the Source for Tracking

  1. Navigate to Daxtra Capture, if you do not have the access directions, reach out to Jobscience Customer Success

  2. Access Admin.

  3. Go to Tracking tables.

  4. Select Edit for the Source option.

  5. Scroll to the Right and press Add to add new Source

    • Name: Job Board Name, example CareerBuilder

    • ID: 18 digit Source ID captured above

Test the Configuration

  1. Navigate to Daxtra Search as a User with access to the Job Board.

  2. Search and wait for the Results to return.

  3. Use Load to Jobscience for a returned Result.

  4. Wait for the desired Result to add into Jobscience, search Global Search to check when Record is added.

  5. Access the new Record.

  6. Check Candidate Source, the value should be the Job Board Name.

If testing is not successful, connect with Jobscience Customer Success - additional configuration on the Daxtra side will be needed to integrate the Source values.
