Encrypt Sensitive Data with Forms

Jobscience allows for the hiding of sensitive data during the submission process.

Note: This setting is honored when using a 'Upsert' Form and the Field Question is set to 'Populate Value'.

When a Field has an encrypted Data Type, a setting 'Mask' is available from the Form Question edit display. The values available are Yes, No, and Up to Last 4.

Scenarios

  • If No, the individual submitting the form can see all data.

  • If Yes, the individual submitting the form can not see the data; instead, they are presented XXXX.

  • If Up to Last 4, the individual submitting the form will only see the last 4 characters; example Social Security Numbers would display XXXXX1234.
