Forms Generate Blank PDF When Field API Name Changed

The Jobscience Form product relies on the Field API Name value to associate a particular Salesforce Field onto a Form Question. If the API Name is changed on a Field used on a Form and the Form is set to generate PDF upon submission, the generated PDF will display blank.

Resolving

1. Locate the Form(s) which use the newly renamed Field API Name.

2. Select the Form Question that associates to this Field and then click Save.

   • Upon the Save action, the new Field API Name will auto-associate back to the Form Question and allow the generated PDF to display the expected content.
