New File Type Field Added to Credential Entity on Credentials Page

What’s new?

We added an optional File Type field to the Credential entity in fieldmaps. When unhidden, it appears as a dropdown on the Menu > Credentials page for each Credential. The selected value flows down to the Credential displayed in the Credential File Attachments view on a Candidate record.

Why does it matter?

This feature automates the security process of indicating which credential file attachments require the PreviewSensitiveFileAttachment entitlement to preview or edit. Credential File Type values that match the senstiveCertificationFileAttachmentTypeList system setting prevent preview or edit access without this entitlement. Previously, users had to manually add the file attachment type to each credential in the Candidate record's Credential File Attachments view.

How do I enable this?

Users require Admin access to use this feature. Contact Bullhorn Support to request it. The value list in fieldmaps for the new File Type field in the Credential entity must match the list in the Credential File Attachment entity. The _File Type_ fieldmap must also be unhidden. This change only applies to Credentials added to Candidate record going forward.
